Really enjoyed Kit and Crystal's love story. It broke my heart that they were apart for so long but when they ran into each other it was like time stood still. Check out this great second chance romance!
Kit and Crystal were high school sweethearts. Life separates them for ten years. She is a successful writer and he is a rockstar in a famous band. He sets out to find her and win her back and create their future together. Very happy ending, very likeable characters good story.
Story of young love lost only to be found again ten years later, Kit wanted to rock the world with his music but told a lie to his high school sweetheart to get her to follow her dreams instead of giving them up for him, now he realized he made a mistake and now that Crystal's dreams have come true, he hopes she can forgive his lie and he can finally make her his forever!!
I'm usually not a big fan if second chance romances but I really liked this one that revolves around a rock star and his first love. Kit and Crystal were sweet and sexy with great chemistry. This was a quick read that was well worth the time. There were some consistently issues with the names Tia and Vi but it wasn't enough to detract from the story. This was a cute, fun, sexy read. Read with KU.
(I only read to about 50%. At that point, I was finding so many inconsistencies that I kept having to go back in the book to figure out what was what. It became too frustrating and I stopped.)
This story is about Kit and Crystal getting a second chance at love. Kit is the big time rocker. Crystal is finding newfound fame with her books.
I liked the concept of the book. The writing, in general, is okay (except for all the inconsistencies). So, I give 50% of the book 3 stars for those reasons.
Great story about young love & second chances. Crystal & Kit met in high school, the gorgeous trust fund guy and the brilliant & beautiful girl from the wrong side of the tracks. They were each other's firsts & shared a deep intense love for each other.....so much so that Kit had to break Crystal's heart so she wouldn't give up her full ride to Stanford for him. Fast forward ten years, Kit is a rock star & Crystal is a bestselling author whose book is being made into a multimillion dollar blockbuster movie. Kit has never stopped loving Crystal & regrets what he felt he had to do but she still hasn't put the pieces of her shattered heart back together after he destroyed her in high school. One day while on a tour stop, Kit sees Crystal's face on a billboard & realizes she's in the same city for a book signing.....OK, I've set it up for you....now, READ THE BOOK!!!
