A great read concerning a coming of age story. Cheyenne, a soon to be 18 year old who went through the foster system too many times, lives in a small town in New Mexico. She finally has a great foster mom, but everything else in her life is mediocre...that is, until Tabitha St. Clair arrives. Cheyenne finds a best friend in Tabitha, and spends most of her time and schooling with her.Then one day, Cheyenne finds a letter from her biological mother, demanding her to come to see her in Las Vegas. Cheyenne's world turns upside down as she then discovers who she really is: a descendant of the St. Clair family. And...they're vampires. Vampire royalty, to be specific.
Cheyenne gets pulled into the vampire world, learning the ropes and what fate lies ahead for her. Understanding her new environment and its rules are the least of her problems; there is a great adversary who wants her family and her dead.

Definitely wasn't what I expected. A great story about a vampire coming of age.
Good action, keeps you engaged. Looking forward to the next one.
It was ok, meaning that I felt this was written for a younger audience. They would enjoy it. It was not for me. I love the vampire and paranormal romance novels and have read almost all of them. Lol. I will keep looking.
I enjoyed this book. I found it well-written and I liked the characters. It held my interest and if you are into vampire stories, this one won't disappoint. A vampire coming of age...intriguing for sure. Highly recommend.
A very enjoyable read. The characters are well developed, however i did occasionally find to much detail was in some areas and not enough in others. A slightly different take on the vampire concept. Will be looking out for book 2.
This book took me by surprise. Enjoyable reading, characters that will tug at your heart strings and the storyline flows smoothly from beginning to end. Can't wait to see how the story continues. Highly recommend it!
