Sierra Simone is a writer I can always count on to give me the down and dirty, and does she ever deliver with Misadventures of a Curvy Girl. 

Caleb and Ben are HOT! Together, they become the perfect combination of lovers in the bedroom and in life. Ben is the stoic and damaged veteran who runs the local bar, and Caleb is the more caring, outwardly, farmer. Together, in and out of the bedroom, these two work to give Ireland what she needs to be happy and to feel loved.  Unlike most books with threesomes, there is a relationship that is alive and flourishing between Caleb and Ben in its own right, and of the aspects I love both is that they don't try to define it. They simply know that they love each other, but they also know that they don't work as a two but they need a three. Overall, though, I do wish that there would have been more complexity to their characters. While I love them, I do truly feel like there was so much depth, especially with Ben, that was left unexplored.

Ireland makes the whole book because she is the relatable character. Her insecurities will be the insecurities of most of the female population. Seeing her thoughts as these men pleasure her, as she has to show them her body in the light of day, as we see her struggle with her confidence and the judgment of others. It is enlightening to see how the comments of others break her down, to the point that she can't her the comments of those who love her, particularly Ben and Caleb. Through her character, readers see the stigma we have attached to being fat, and even goes as far as to address the fact that the word fat has become dirty, an insult that we hurl at others, but what I ultimately love is that readers see all the negativity that is hurled at people who are overweight through the Ireland. We see how it breaks her down, tears her apart, and how the affects are long-lasting, because Ireland is a phenomenal heroine, which drives home the destructive nature of this stigma. 

Like any Sierra Simone book, the heroes are incredibly attractive, with dirty mouths and skills between the sheets. The heroine is unique and lovable. The couple, together, steam up Kindles. On top of all of that, we get a real, authentic relationship that builds between them. There is inst-lust and a but of insta-love, but this Misadventures book is incredibly fast paced. The conflict and resolution are a tad predictable, but for the theme she creates and develops, they are perfect.

Like any Sierra Simone book, the Misadventures of the Curvy Girl is steamy and filled with new ideas to ruminate over, hopefully changing reader perspective on the use of the word fat and to ask woman with insecurities about their weight to look at themselves in a new way and to love themselves for who they are, which is absolutely something I can get behind.

Misadventures of a Curvy Girl by Sierra Simone was so much more than I expected. Not only a great story with amazing characters, but also gives us the very best feels, especially for us curvy girls. I loved Ireland Mills so much. She was so real and relatable. She was smart and vulnerable.

Caleb Carpenter and Ben Weber were everything. They were exactly what Ireland needed. The chemistry between all three of them was intense. Both men were very different from one another but seemed to complement each other as well. And let me tell you, they knew exactly how to treat Ireland in all the best ways.

Misadventures of a Curvy Girl by Sierra Simone was a great read. I loved every minute of it and could not put it down. Not only were the characters great and very likable, I loved the steamy and sexy story so much as well!

I have loved every book that I have read written by Sierra Simone. She is such a great story teller and her books are so different from each other that you just don't know what to expect with each new book but you know that you will enjoy it!

Ireland Mills has been struggling with her weight but actually she feels ok with herself but years of being "harassed" by her sister about her figure and an ex-boyfriend always being ashamed of her figure has put so many doubts in Ireland's head that she doesn't trust herself to truly be who she is. When she takes an assignment to take pictures of a Kansas farm setting for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, she was suppose to meet one of the farmer, Caleb Carpenter, she instead gets her Prius stuck in the mud. Luckily Caleb comes to the rescue and it's instant attraction even though Ireland doesn't believe it to be the case while Caleb knew this is the one but needs to make sure that Ben, his best friend and roommate, agrees and feels the same way.

The interaction between Ireland, Caleb, and Ben are so steamy and hot. The attraction between the 3 is undeniable and they act on it. IT IS HOT! But each of them have their own secrets that they feel that the others will not want them if they know. Ireland's insecurity about her figure keeps getting in the way of her actually believing that 2 hot guys would want anything to do with her and thinks it's just a weekend fling. When tragedy strikes the next town where Ben's bar is located, we get to see how each react and help others through the tragedy. When Ireland's pictures of the town's destruction makes the news, the newspaper wants to interview her and they take a picture of the 3 of them together. Ireland can't handle the comments that are posted about her and her ex leaves her pretty nasty messages. Ireland runs away even though Caleb and Ben continues to try and reach out to her. It take an unusual person to make Ireland see who she truly is and understand that the 2 guys do love her. But will she take the steps to go back to these 2 hot guys?
I know that Sierra Simone can write beautiful stories but this is so much more.
She has turned the thoughts and inner feelings that so many face and struggle with everyday into a wonderful story about finding personal acceptance.
Ireland has been told throughout her life how she should feel about her body and what she should do to change it. They have shamed her into hating herself so when not one, but two hot hunky men find her sexy and want her she tries to puts her insecurities aside until their relationship becomes public and those insecurities come back up to the surface.
Everyone struggles. Some struggles are more visible than others, but it takes love, patience and understanding for anyone to help another. Ireland struggles with her outer layers. Ben struggles with his inner demons and Caleb is the calm man who loves and wants them both. Together they work and together they find love, healing and acceptance.
